Printing on plastic

Plastic compared to the paper is elastic. For this reason, for roll printing another technique is used. The tension of the film is critical. Servo is either in torque mode, if there isn’t a dancer, or speed control with correcting program. With tension control we fix length printing to printing.

In cases where the film has the form of “pipe” and needs printing on both sides, the film is printed twice. After it has been printed from one side, reenters to print the other way. Very important in this case is to be printed on both sides about the same point. Then the finished product will have the pattern on both sides at the same point. To achieve this, we must take into account both the steady tension and the correct positioning of the film.
